Plan 1 – Week 16

Given that I started the week still recovering from being ill, Iโ€™m pleased with how it ended. A 2nd sub 40 10km for the year, when previously I hadnโ€™t run 1 since 2012.
Iโ€™m now giving serious consideration to doing the 10km in Bexhill in 3 weeks time, instead of the half, and finding another half to run before the end of the year. The would also mean that the Poppy run would be less boring, as 4 laps of a route is not my idea of fun, so 2 would be more bearable.
Really happy with plan 1 and in the last few weeks Iโ€™ve felt the benefit of being back on Team Orange. Canโ€™t see that changing any time in the near future

A really good week coming off the back of that illness. Pleased you are enjoying the training and seeing the benefits. Almost ready to crack on with a new plan which I’m excited about. Feel like my plans are improving all the time and the results continue to showcase that (so modest ๐Ÿ˜‚). 3rd date already? Didn’t even realise the 2nd had happened. The speed these are happening is a very good sign. Hope it goes well.
