Good week. Just a bit worried regarding pace/endurance for the longer runs. Perhaps after this marathon is done, I need to focus more on speed so that I don’t have to run for as long!

A really good week. And don’t worry too much about how the long run went. I’m not too worried myself. I think you’ll be surprised at how much extra you can find on race day. You make a good point about post Las Palmas. I think there should never be a hurry to enter marathons and improving across the shorter distances first will ultimately help you be the best runner you can. Plus training for a different distance can add some nice variety as well. But I’m really pleased with how you’ve done on this plan and now we get to ease back a little with the taper weeks.
