Plan 1 – Week 6

  • 18th August 2025

Great weeks training completed. 4 Miles running with HR walk to run group over 55 minutes. 4 miles with Steve’s group over 65 minutes. 5K on my own in the park over 35 minutes. Some hills on the HR walk to run group and Hills and Steps on Steve’s run. A flat run for the 5K in the park. I feel this week has provided alot of different types of running. My 5K in the park felt much easier today. I feel the other types of running has helped with Aerobic capacity. My pace for the 5K was much quicker than normal. No parkrun this week but think we adapted the plan to accommodate differing types of running.

Great week Lucy. It’s nice to run with others as well and you had the 2 groups this week which can be really good for our mental health. You’re clearly making some progress which is great to see and smashing the plan at the moment. Keep doing what you’re doing. Excellent work.
