Plan 2 – Week 3

Not the best week/month. Had a lot going on personally (big health scare) , got another promotion at work,  plus stuff going on at home with family.
I think October has just got on top of me a bit and my body is saying ‘just chill out love’. I got a virus after the half and I’ve got the same bloody thing back again.!!!

Not sure what to do. Do I crack back on with running, enjoy getting out there again and focus on a PB but equally hope I don’t get run down or let me body rest??
Although I felt knackered with HHM training I never got ill!!!! It’s nuts!!

I hate getting old 🤣

No injury issues

COACH

Not everyone on the team is chasing PBs. Some just like the structure that comes with having a plan set out for them. The minute you change that goal, it removes the pressure and then sometimes the guilt of missing sessions. Your goal could be to complete as many of your training sessions as possible. That then removes the pressure, but you’re still part of what is a brilliant community. Also I think it can be important to find that time for yourself if possible. But don’t ever think there’s pressure from me, or expectation either as I appreciate everyone has different circumstances they have to face. Congrats on the promotion by the way and I just really hope you feel better soon.
