Plan 2 – Week 8

  • 8th - 14th September

Best weeks training yet. It won’t always be like this!

Can comfortably up the S&C content and/or frequency.

The tuesday am session is ‘in my head’ now, so it goes into my weekly planning, and I will be disappointed should I miss one from here on. I will look to david lloyd should the weather deteriorate.

Had planned hastings pr for this sat, but will prob have to run elsewhere.

No injury issues

COACH

That was a fantastic week and really pleased. Glad you’re enjoying it too. Routine can really help with running, doing the same things at the same time each week. We are far less likely to make excuses if we have that pattern. In terms of the S&C, I’ve made some tweaks for next week, increasing the reps, the best approach going forward would be to introduce some weights. Dumbbells and kettlebells the most common choice. Happy to offer some advice here, but some cheap adjustable dumbbells can certainly be a good place to start.
