Plan 3 – Week 5

Did an extra Pilates and swapped park run for Kings Head Canter

I got straight back on it after holidays and it felt great to be back in routine and see everyone again. I really do like the team and wider group and it suits me so much. I’m not as good / motivated running alone. Sunday long run was really tough because of heat and hilly route but was really enjoyable and I felt pleased with myself afterwards. Β The Kings Head Canter was fun and I enjoyed that although I took it really easy so it wasn’t a huge effort on my part.

I think if you’re enjoying your running then it’s job done really. Then if you stick with it hopefully you’ll see those improvements in time. But never be in a hurry to achieve that, all the time you’re enjoying yourself. Plus you’re injury free too which is always something to have gratitude for. Well done for getting back into the routine so quickly after your holiday.
