Plan 3 – Week 8

  • 8th - 14th September

Didn’t do the Sunday long run because of marshalling. I planned to do it Saturday tagged onto park run but the weather was so diabolical and I was lacking the energy and will power to push on through that! I do try to keep on top of the training schedule

Love it all. It’s become a way of life and I enjoy the routine and having the plan to guide me. It feels realistic and achievable and I’m looking forward to the Hastings half and the Rye to Hastings. I need the people – I’m not good at just running alone and it is the best team! Even being part of the support crew when marshalling is fun and I love giving back πŸ€—

Thank for the lovely feedback. Will drop you a message to see I can use that on my socials. The fact you did the parkrun fast on Saturday was a good alternative to the long run and means you still earned some decent training points. So I wouldn’t worry about that. What you have said here is basically everything I am trying to achieve with the team and the PBs are just a bonus.
