Plan 4 – Week 11

First long run in a long time. Committed to 10miles incorporating park run. Impressed that my fitness has maintained and the 10 miles were completed comfortably and not a too bad pace. Considering once upon a time 10:30min miles were my comfortable pace and I only ran up to 10km I’m pretty happy although 35seconds per mile too slow for a sub2 half. That being said I wasn’t pushing it and finished strong.
Got an intermittent pain on outside of left knee. Been there since doing run and rave with the wind against me and a flag on my back pulling me backwards. Hopefully clears up in the next 2-3 weeks.

Really well done on the long run Saturday. That made a big difference to the training week. If we can get back in that habit of doing a weekly intervals session that will help too. But a good week, great job Jodie.
