Plan 5 – Week 10

Early in the week, for my first run, I had the โ€˜back of legsโ€™ pain quite badly although I had not had it after the Rye Ancient Trails. As the week went on, the pain disappeared and did not trouble me on Rye to Hastings. I felt very pleased with my performance on this race, I felt strong and was able to work hard and improve my previous time. So, Iโ€™m feeling very positive about the plan, thanks coach!

All as above – Iโ€™ve been having cold bath after runs, doing extra stretching esp for my spine, and had a sports massage 10 days ago. I feel all of this is helping.

COACH

Love the positivity in this feedback. A really strong week and so pleasing to hear how well the Rye to Hastings went and with no pain also. Sorry it took me a while to add in those extra S&C sessions, I had a week with 4 new runners sign up so was a bit manic and sometimes my notes on my desk are a bit jumbled, but we got there in the end. Keep up the great work Sarah.
