Plan 5 – Week 12

I think I could be doing a bit more but it was tough this week because them still not being back at school but I was still back at work.

I saw the note that I’m at 96% into the plan already which seems crazy! But the last couple of weeks has made me think got me maybe less is more? I think I want the next plan to be something along the lines of improving my form and getting back to basics. I’ve not got anymore races planned so actually I feel all the pressure is taken off and I can get back to actually thinking about this more

My stomach has felt better this week. I’ve been eating more sensibly that’s for sure.

COACH

Sorry may have confused you last week with the 94% mark. That was in regards to last week specifically rather than the plan as a whole. As mentioned in the message I think setting the right goal for you is so important and that’s been your undoing of late. Being too ambitious and then it’s forced my hand to make you do long runs, when they’re probably not what you need right now. Hence why, after Kent Ultra I think it’s important to take some time to choose your next goal, even have a chat with myself, and make the right decision, then we can look to create a plan which works for you and not against you, which the last couple probably have. But you’re still going well considering and hopefully you can enjoy the Ultra in October. I’ve moved next weeks runs around too, but change up the days if need be.
