Plan 5 – Week 6

A good week. Very pleased with the 90 minute run on Tuesday ( instead of 60 mins ) then just under 5K to replace the part run ( not quite a complete session but I felt Tuesday probably made up for it !)

Enjoyed the Seafront 10k. Have noticed when running with Chrissie and also Rachel their natural pace is much faster than mine – so it’s kept me going at a faster pace both for the Wed runs and this race . I was surprised that I could maintain the pace and didn’t flag at the end. Seafront 10k – no walking so was pretty pleased.

No injury issues

Back pain is much better when keeping moving or running. Must be postural /muscular I think.

COACH

A brilliant week. Bonus points banked which will definitely help in the long run. Sunday was a fantastic result and hopefully given you that confidence boost that you are running really well right now. Hopefully over the next 4-6 weeks that consistency will be there and you’ll see further improvements too. Great work Ellie. I’m very happy.
