Great work Matt, especially Saturday. Dates sorted as you’ve probably seen but thanks for letting me know. In terms of the long runs, it can be a little detrimental running with those slower, but obviously there are other benefits to being with the group. What we will do those as we get into the next plan is introduce some marathon specific sessions. That’s when we’ll push the pace on the long runs and those will ultimately determine how well Brighton will go. So in the build up to Chester I had done 26km at marathon pace, just under in fact (4:50 per km) and that’s the sort of session that we’ll get too at the peak of the marathon plan. So I wouldn’t worry too much just yet.
