Plan 6 – Week 14

I’ve been started to have a think about things post ultra. I definitely want to stay on a plan but hoping to reintroduce some speed work. Possibly a 5/10k plan and then something to finally get that sub 2 in HHM in March .

will try to stick to my stretching as with all the travelling and resting while ill I don’t want things to tighten up too much.

So pleased to hear all the positivity and missing a couple of runs now isn’t a major issue. I think we could probably squeeze in two 12 week plans post the Ultra, one to focus on a bit more speed work and then the other more half marathon specific. It feels like the timing is much better to push the pace now, and hopefully the body will be fine with that increase in demand, albeit it will be counteracted my less mileage, so no reason it will be an issue. Delighted you want to continue by the way and I appreciate the continued support.
