Plan 6 – Week 16

  • Sep 29-5

Sorry for the radio silence this week. I’ve tried as much as possible to enjoy my holiday and not really use my phone other than for photos and it’s been lovely. We get back late tomorrow night/early hours of Wednesday morning. I haven’t had a week of nothing but also not as much as I’d like but more that I’ve really been wiped out fighting off injections and then not coping well with antibiotics. But 2 runs one 30mins one 40mins. Even leaving early it’s hot and I’ve had no energy but it’s been a lovely way to figure out where we are (potentially another before we leave tomorrow) and 3 S&C sessions so not a total right off. One S&C session left me struggling with walking a couple of days as hotel gym has no label on the weight and clearly I was lifting heavier than I realised.

Β

Hopefully the injury will have benefitted from the reduced running but not from the travelling.

COACH

Sounds like you got a pretty decent week banked given you were away including your hardest ever S&C session (oops πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚). No worries about being quiet, I totally respect that. It’s important to enjoy your time away and switch off from things like that. Hope you had a great time. Now just a case of focusing on the ultra, getting that done, which I think you’re in really good shape to do.
