The parkrun would have made up for the S&C, so a nice balance there and another strong week. Looking at the build up to Chester, I think given how often you are racing on Sunday’s keeping it easy on Fridays until after the marathon is probably wise. But certainly after that it’s something we could do. I’m hoping to incorporate Battle, Rye Ancient Trails and Rye to Hastings into my training, feel like I’ve not seen you for ages, so will be good to be at those events. But I’m really happy where you’re at coming into this block of races and just feel it’s a case of now reigning in the training (apart from the last big marathon session) to make sure you get enough rest after the races.
