Plan 7 – Week 4

  • Sep 21-27

When I look at training points level, sometimes I could do a bit more, itโ€™s variable, but I can add that in as and when, like the additional few mins swimming, or the cycling Saturday. I will stick to plan over these 2 weeks, to give my legs rest for the ultra, even ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ walks may be shorter. Just coming down with a cold too, ย hopefully ๐Ÿคž short lived. Hope you are fully recovered and positive for your marathon!!!!

No injury issues

92pts banked with the cycle too. It was a recovery week as well. It’s good to have an understanding of what you’re capable of in terms of training points each week. Although depending on certain circumstances (like recovery), some weeks can be different. I think the next two weeks, with the half as well, it’s important to keep things light, and ensure the legs are well rested for the ultra.

Thanks, nearly there. Wish I didn’t ask AI the following question though “Can you run a good marathon a week after having norovirus?” ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ I’ll see how I feel on the day and if I have to reset my goals, so bet it. At least the legs will be well rested.
