Plan 7 – Week 7

  • Oct 13-19

It’s been a busy week and now built back up to full dog walk miles etc, understandably I’m weary today, but the training level is sustainable and enjoyable. I may move Tuesday to Wednesday morning and get Jamie outside for efforts instead of treadmill, and get him doing proper warm up and cool down. He’s on lates. We’ll see. And Sunday long run Alice is doing her ultra, so I may join her for a couple of hours as are a few others to help her get through. 😊

hope the knee starts behaving soon, get on that bike!

Just a bit sore from 1/2 way through parkrun, I think it will settle. It’s my good leg, so unrelated to the usual hip and knee issues.

SUMMARY

  • Week: 🙄 Not quite good enough
  • Plan: 😏 Pretty pleased
  • Pts: ✅ Yes, it feels right

INJURIES/NIGGLES 🚑

Left hamstring

COACH

Great work Sue. Yeah if you can get Jamie off the treadmill that will help. I notice he didn’t quite give his all at parkrun Saturday, but I don’t want to be too critical, he was there and has been leaving some feedback. Knee is a bit of a git today but I think it’s all related to issues I’ve had in the past. I was too selfless last week and when I needed rest I ran to not let the group down Sunday, that was a big mistake. Never mind. That’s great that some of the others are going to support Alice. I know she will appreciate that. Just a bit unlucky as the trails were so dry this weekend, not sure that will be the case come Sunday 🤦‍♂️
