Plan 8 – Week 7

Overall a pretty reasonable week for where I am in my training I think. Tuesdays efforts as I said were a bit flat but on reflection Iโ€™m happy with how they went. A good Bimble Thursday set me up nicely for the Rye to Hastings which Iโ€™ll admit I went into with a certain amount of trepidation having not run that distance since before the hernia op. I see youโ€™ve put me back to 2 S & C sessions this week, I will probably move Mondays to later in the week and have a lazy day tomorrow as everything is feeling a bit tired at present. Iโ€™m pretty certain that I wonโ€™t do HHM but will probably aim for the Seafront 10k the week after and if all goes ok then possibly Beachy Head half in October.

Aches and pains and sore feet.

COACH

A really good week and 120+ pts is training at a decent level. Great work on the Rye to Hastings and just see how you feel about HHM. It will soon come around again in 6 months time. Yes I think moving the S&C is wise to have that extra rest, but if we can get back into that habit of twice a week I think that’s good. Great job Andy!!
