Plan 8 – Week 8

Failed with the 2nd S & C session ๐Ÿ™ƒ Had a busy week outside of running and just couldnโ€™t fit the 2nd session in. Iโ€™m still happy with how the week went considering I definitely felt the effects of the Rye to Hastings for a good couple of days. Tuesdays track session was good as it gave me an idea of where my fitness was after Sundays race. Thursdays Bimble was a nice comfy plod but the strideโ€™s definitely upped the heart rate and again I felt good. Parkrun was a strange one this week with the wind in the other direction to normal I struggled to enjoy the first half but it felt like a completely different run on the way back and I really enjoyed it.

No injury issues

COACH

As you say, coming off the Rye to Hastings, this week was always going to potentially be a challenge. So missing that 2nd S&C is fine. Across those two weeks you actually banked more than the original target, so that’s good and should ensure you continue to progress. Hope the show on Thursday is good! Well done Andy.
