COACH NOTES

Entirely up to you how we approach this. I can put in empty sessions like this for you to keep me updated and offer some accountability. You can share your planned sessions if you want me to add exercises or I can leave it completely to you. Generally even those that do their own S&C I still add it to the dashboard just for that extra motivation.

RUNNER FEEDBACK

Used this as a ‘volume session.’ I put the notes on Strava (can’t copy and paste here) I was training with Kelly, so volume is more suitable. I can’t really HAM it when training alongside anyone else unless they’re lifting the same sort of weight- it’s logistically a pain if you have to keep swapping weights around- so I’ll probably just HAM it on solo visits. I will work out a more structured S&C plan and send it through asap.

COACH FEEDBACK

Well done Nick. Correct me if I’m wrong but given your current physique isn’t a case of just maintaining that as best as possible whilst combining the running? I’m just thinking about protecting the body and not overdoing things in the gym so you break anything. In the ideal scenario the two compliment each other. Perhaps the best approach would be you send over your ideas, I take a look, offer some feedback and then we find a routine that should work.
