A good session to practice some half marathon pace. Try not to do the 800s too fast and then make sure you hit HM pace in that final 10 mins.

Something a bit different for a Sunday morning but we want to make sure we chuck in the odd half marathon session so you don’t lose that speed endurance you built up going into HHM.

Felt really strong during this, even going into the wind on the first 1.5km of the 3km @ HMP reps. Feeling very able to control my pace and sustain things throughout the sessions. Previously I’ve always been up and down at this.

I was a bit worried when I saw your Strava title but glad you enjoyed this one and are feeling strong. When we are in this spell of running really well we just need to keep pushing and stay consistent. The margins are obviously smaller now in terms of gains, so keep that consistency up and you will continue to improve. Fantastic running Fin.
