Great session. Did the first six minutes at my target 5K pace so consciously slowed down for the next two. Still a good average pace. Ran the 3 x 4 minutes within myself and was inside my target 5K pace so very pleased. I was running the speed I want. Sure it was hard but I had something in reserve before reaching maximum effort. Very pleased.

The splits here were a thing of beauty and feels like you’re running at the very top of your game at the moment which is very exciting. The fact you felt a little bit in reserve is even better. Superb session Conal.
