A good session to practice some half marathon pace. Try not to do the 800s too fast and then make sure you hit HM pace in that final 10 mins.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

This was tough!! Housing sitting for a friend out on moat lane on the A21 so had limited options of route. Chose grass for the first half and kept a good pace but knew I’d struggle on the second half so went back to road. All in all happy but dropped pace on one of the final 3km. Got it back up though so generally pretty happy for a hot Sunday afternoon and a strong effort the day before.

Fantastic work Fin!! It’s hard when you lose that pace, but to dig deep and finish strong is a great mindset which will serve you well in races in the future. A bloody excellent weekend of running. Hope it was a nice house?
