8 x 2 Mins Hill Reps

LOAD: 26

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

2 Mins Uphill (RPE: 8)
3 Mins Downhill @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
x8

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Big session this! But ideal if you have a hilly race coming up. Focus on good form and don’t go off too hard in rep 1, let the hill make it tough. Good luck! You got this. Run tall & proud.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Well that went as good as it could have gone really HY was doing a flat session so went up the country park to my old training hill. It was alot steeper than I remembered and damn thats a tough session on the grass. My right leg was pretty much spot on so thats great left still a little tight but not painful i will see how it is in the morning then decide wether to do rye trails or not but atm im gonna give it a go in my head. Fingers crossed my legs will just keep getting better now.

So so happy. A great way to start my day reading this. I was a little worried in truth and questioned the idea of pushing that hard, but then thought we need to test you really as well to see where you’re at and seems it was the right decision now. Fantastic effort Steve and hopefully the confidence now is flooding back. Let me know about RAT as I’ll put it on the dashboard if you do decide to run. I like the idea, little worried conditions will be a bit tricky, but the right shoe choice should sort that and with your XC experience it shouldn’t be a problem.
