A good opportunity to practice your half marathon goal pace during a midweek tempo run. Factor in hills and weather, which may effect pace, in which case nail the right RPE.

🙄 Just a fraction slow

Tough session, didn’t help that I didn’t eat well the day before and had a late night, had to boff this out between studio sessions. Was really struggling to maintain HM pace even on the flat with the wind behind me, so wasn’t feeling particularly strong. Had to pause for a minute before my cooldown as I was so spent. Got it done though.

Sounds like the preparation was the main reason for the tough session, so hopefully won’t be the same on race day. But really well done for finding the time to fit it in.
