45 Mins Easy

LOAD: 14

45 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

The only real mistake you can make here is going too fast. Try and pick a flat route as well. Hills will push that RPE too high.

😬 Too fast

PACE

51 mins completed. Would normally put N/A for an easy run but this one was a little fast against the target paces above. This was more of my easy pace a year ago. The four of us just chatted and laughed most the way round and didn’t really pay much attention to the pace until towards the end. By then we was in a groove. It’s been a while since I ran at that pace on a Thursday after a Wednesday session and actually felt good.

If you’re chatting, and not worried about breathing and heart rate, then that’s easy enough for me. So I’m not worried about that. The paces are always just a guide and some days, especially if you’ve got that company, a quicker tempo can feel comfortable. Just glad you had a nice run and felt strong. More positive signs. Well done Dan.
