I’ve tweaked the plan slightly as we did have 180 mins in but that feels too much right now. So I’ve added some extra to the 2 easy runs. Paris isn’t that far away though so we do need to get those miles in if the back allows it. Any problems just shout but keep up the great work Andy.

New session. A good chance to work on a variety of paces and pick up the speed as the session goes on. Try and hit those targets on the dashboard if you can. Bear in mind this could take up to 50 mins so just get your timings right so you don’t run out of time if doing this on the track.

Really liked the structure of this session actually. Nice to know the intervals are getting shorter! Found it tough though. Legs didn’t seem to want to run fast. Maybe because its so cold here. Struggled a bit towards the end of the 1km efforts. But got faster for the 400s, and the 200s felt particularly good. Pleased for getting myself out to do it though.
Fantastic work. You’re the first member of the Team to complete this session as our track was closed this morning due to the snow/ice. So that’s a real positive. Those 1km splits can often feel a bit slow but then it’s great to inject that pace in towards the end. Fantastic work Andy.

The only real mistake you can make here is going too fast. Try and pick a flat route as well. Finish off with the strides. Total time needed is 60 mins.

It’s important to keep the easy runs easy. Focus on good running form and low heart rate.

Managed not to fall over at parkrun and got the extra done for 50mins. Only 3 parkruns on in the north east!
Only 3, wow must have been bad up there. Glad you found one to do though.

All about time on feet. Don’t focus on pace. Instead keep that effort level down and concentrate on good running economy. Fuelling and hydration key too.

Sadly conditions were wretched again. Didn’t manage to do this. But hopefully that’s the last of the snow and ice.
It’s pretty but boy is it annoying.
