I’ll whisper it quietly as not confirmed yet, but next weeks Tuesday session may be in Bexhill. That will help you right if coming from work? I’ve not got the handicap 5k on your plan, is that a race you are hoping to do? It would it in well to the schedule. As for the rest, business as normal, keep smashing out the sessions and spreading joy to the running community ๐Ÿงก

Always fun to train in a group. Ask for help if unsure on your technique on the exercises.

He moved the class day! I can’t make the rescheduled Weds as got a work event ๐Ÿ˜”
I hope you had words. Just one of those things. Nothing can be done.

Big session this so start off at 10k pace and then look to hit 5k pace for the last 4 reps. Always focus on running tall and staying relaxed.

Found the efforts tough tonight and like I didn’t have much in the tank! Maybe dehydrated and had a busy day! Maybe just that’s the way it goes! But got it done nevertheless and that’s miles banked
Yeah we all have days like that, but you were running well with Sue, turning up and getting the sessions done is what matters the most. Always great to have you along and lifting the spirit of everyone around you ๐Ÿ˜ Well done Lou.

I had to create a new session for you guys. Have fun. 60 mins easy is perfect in terms of training load. Don’t forget those strides as well (if highlighted)

I did the Robertsbridge instead. Hope that’s ok. It was hot and tough at the end of a busy week but I ran it reasonably well. It was an effort at times!
Of course, no problems at all. Always good to get involved with races like that and will definitely bring more improvement with your running. Well done for a strong effort ๐Ÿ’ช

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Because of Robertsbridge last night
Yeah doing both would have been mad so good option to rest up here.

Long runs are key. Fuel and hydrate well & join a group if you can.

Tough in the heat and felt like more effort than usual but we still got it done. A solid two hour, slower pace than usual reflecting the heat and extra effort
Awesome work Lou, it will always be slower in the heat but that’s sensible and exactly what we want to do in these conditions. Another strong 2 hour run. In regards to the Amble, you are fitter and stronger than some of the people I have seen complete it in recent years. The entire route is about 40k but possibly 10k of that are hills you just have to walk up. And if you stop at every station to take on foot and water you might be surprised how far you can go. I would predict you’ll be able to complete the majority of it, but might need to minibus for one of the sections. When Kayla did it, she sat on the bus between Southease and Alfriston just to have a breather but then carried on for the final two sections. Whatever happens it’s a great day out.
