A good chance to work on your 5k pace. If you can hit the quicker end of zone 6, then perfect. Don’t go too fast though, especially in the early reps.
I’ve reigned it in a little bit again because of the foot. It’s hard to know what will cause the biggest issue. In theory if running faster your ground contact is lighter and lower, so you might find that actually helps doing a session like track. Perhaps avoid the hills for a week as well, just to be safe. I’ve cut the long run back to 90 mins. Keep rolling and icing and hopefully the foot will start to behave. At some stage some expect advice might be wise like a podiatrist, but see how things pan out. ๐ค

I’ve added in a few exercises so we cover all the fundamental movement patterns (push, pull, squat, lunge, rotate, hinge) and calf raises were the key running exercise that was missing.
It’s important to keep the easy runs easy. Focus on good running form and low heart rate.
Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.
