Such good variety in this schedule now with the different types of cross training. We might only be running twice a week but there’s 5 days of cardio in there, along with a circuits class. That’s fantastic. Keeping you busy, active but without overdoing things. It feels like a good blend right now. Keep up the great work Su. Any issues let me know

A good way to boost cardio whilst reducing the risk of injury. The elliptical can tone muscles and improve endurance whilst being gentle on your joints. You might find you have to work quite hard to get your heart rate in Zone 2.
A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Keep that heart rate in Zone 2. You might feel like RPE is higher, as it’s a tough exercise, but a good opportunity to really improve your aerobic engine without the heavy impact of running.
A great way to get the heart pumping to some banging tunes. Have fun 😁

Not essential as runners but it’s good to feel strong and can help maintain good form deep into races.
Swimming is a great alternative to running and probably the best form of cross training. Have fun!
