The same applies to what I said to Andy on his assessment. With the uncertainty surrounding the operation it didn’t seem wise to plan too far ahead. So I’ve created a 12 week plan which takes you up until mid/late June. The moment you need to stop, that’s fine, we can put things on hold and then pick up again once you’re ready.
I’ve put some races in there, but by all means let me know if you want to change them. It’s entirely up to you which races you do, I was just predicting the most likely events that you and Andy might be in attendance, so I could shape the training plan.
I love how well you’ve done to battle back. It’s inspiring and so rewarding for me as a coach to be part of that journey. Winning the H2H Challenge, whilst only really a friendly competition, was a nice reward for your efforts.
We don’t need to change much because your routine is a really good one, and I get the impression you enjoy it, and it works well.
So Tuesday track, Thursday bimble, Saturday park run, and the occasional Sunday long run. They won’t be as important after Rye 10 (assuming you’ll be giving that a go?).
Not much else to add. One change we could make would be the S&C. But again if you’re going to need time out after the operation, then is it worth pushing too hard right now? Not really.
Thank you, to you and Andy, for your continued support. It means a lot.
