COACH SUMMARY

Having you part of the team, makes my life more enjoyable. So thank you. I hope you can realise just what a positive influence you have on those around you and the joy you bring, by being part of the team.

I’m so pleased you want to continue and I appreciate just how challenging it is with work, but you’ve proven you can continue to make those small gains. The main difference with this schedule is that we make better use of parkrun. Where as before I have often used that as an easy run, I think working hard and chipping away at the time is a better use of Saturday mornings.

In the 16 weeks of this plan, 9 include a quick parkrun, so it’s still not every week you’ll be pushing the boundaries. Tuesdays and Thursdays, it’s business as usual and it will be light for the next 6 months or so which is amazing. We’ve come through that difficult winter period.

I’ve pencilled in the races you mentioned and there is definitely scope to include more if you decide nearer the time.

Just keeping being you basically. My motto now in life is “work hard and be nice to people” and I couldn’t think anyone else who represents that statement more than you. 🧡

SHORT TERM GOALS

Better & Faster

My next goal is to get even better and faster! I am super happy with my schedule as it mostly works for me . It’s ambitious and mostly achievable with my work schedule (65 hours the week just gone! Not good!) although sometimes I have to skip things due to work.

I’m going to do the 5 miler on 8th, Rye 10 miler in May and the Hastings 5 miler May 31st if I can. Also some of the other races in between and on 12th July I am booked in for Saucony 10k. I want to get fitter and aim for slighter better times across all races and distances inc park run. Aim for slightly but maybe they’ll be even better!

LONG TERM GOALS

HHM 2027

To keep training as well as I have this year so that by next March I can shave another few minutes off my HHM time.

Also I love being part of Team Orange 🤗 🧡
