COACH SUMMARY

I feel like you’re running close to your best right now and Brighton was evident of that. So we don’t want to change a great deal.

I’ve increased your training load ever so slightly from 1060 to 1100. Runs per week has risen slightly too from 3.64 to 3.83.

But the longest run in the plan is 120 mins and you’re only be doing 2 sessions per week and 2 easy runs. So the demands are manageable in my opinion, whilst combined with the S&C will continue to see you running well.

I’ve included some quick park runs in there as I feel there’s a fast time coming soon. Plus we’ve got the midweek Spring 5K and Bexhill 5K which could deliver some good results.

I remember telling Kev when he was a few years off turning 60. Just keep doing what you’re doing, then when you bump up that age category the rewards will follow. Especially GFA for London or even Boston. That alone should be a motivator to keep working hard and keep running well.
