Picking the correct route or location for your training session can play a huge impact on the success of that run.
If you want to do a continious long run in preparation for a marathon you don’t want to be stopping every 5 minutes to cross a busy road.
If you are doing a challenging hills session you want to ensure the elevation is suitable for your current level of fitness.
The weather can play an important roll in finding the right location or route to run. You don’t want to be running on an exposed promenade if it’s blowing 40 MPH wind.
Try to consider all these options when picking the right location to tackle your sessions. I can offer advice where need be. I’ve kept a record of locations that I’ve used myself but also recommended for sessions to my runners.
