Susan Mann is a member and Vice Chair at Hastings Runners. She approached me in early 2023 in the hope to build up her mileage and be ready to tackle the Hastings Half Marathon in the spring. Susan works long hours for the NHS and was also doing 2 pilates sessions and 1 yoga session a week. Introducing a consistent plan which worked around those commitments was key and to date Susan has smashed pretty much every session that has been set. She has been a regular at our club track sessions and it’s great to see her lap times getting quicker. I’m confident Susan will be ready to complete the Hastings Half this year.
