Post RACE

If the legs hadnโ€™t been aching like hell right from the start I would have given it a 10 for enjoyment ๐Ÿ˜Š Warm up, drills and strideโ€™s definitely make the difference. The weather was pretty perfect which was nice for a change as well. Not sure weather it was a PB for me as I need to search my records but definitely faster than last year by 1 minute 13 secs and the year before (pre op) by 41 secs so Iโ€™m very happy ๐Ÿ˜Š Felt comfortable throughout and managed a pretty even pace, 7.39 average so not far off target. Stride of 1.07 m was a little bit shorter than I would have liked but average cadence of 197 was better. Overall not a bad day at the office ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Such a good improvement on last year. So definitely worth celebrating. I think sometimes it’s good to beyond our own race and the event as a whole as you mentioned it was just a great morning. Really positive vibe among the whole of Hastings Runners and lovely weather too. Fantastic running Andy and to be getting quicker as you get older is excellent.
