Enjoyable run. Thanks for yours and Jax’ support at the 5km mark. Tougher out into the wind until the turnaround point but kept running. Had to walk for short time to stretch at 6km due to stitch, then mainly running with short sections of walking intermittently to the end. 10.05km at 7.20/km ( Strava ). 6.25 miles at 11.48/mi pace ( Garmin ) Nice work 1:13:37 – PB on Strava

Really well done Ellie. I think given the conditions and a few weeks of disruption this was an excellent effort. It was nice to come along and be able to support as well. The sunset was incredible. I did that race once when I was really struggling with my running. 1:06:53 was my time (2018) – https://hastingsrunners.co.uk/rye-summer-10k-03-08-2018/ It was always brings fond memories as the sunset was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever witnessed. Also just a nod to say if you keep being consistent with your running over a period of time them big improvements are possible. So keep up the great work and keep running tall.
