To be honest the target times are generally just a guide and I wouldn’t focus on them as the be all and end all.
What they didn’t factor in was the additional challenge of the heat and humidity which slowed me down by as much as 30 seconds.
What impressed me the most is how strong you looked at the end. That’s always a good sign of a well executed race. To think it still only a few weeks since your return as well, so could be another 4 weeks before we start to notice those real improvements.
Still a big step forward and no doubt the fitness will have gone up a level as a result of this race. Great running Sue.
