Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Always just be a little wary if doing a quick parkrun and long run in the same weekend. It should be fine, but drop the pace if need be.

PACE

I’m pleased with that today. After last weeks break and being out last night I won’t deny that was tough. Happy to keep a fairly even pace throughout though, probably running by myself for most of the time helped as well. Appalling stride length as usual ☹️ .. 0.87 m but good cadence .. 188 spm 😊

188 spm for 2 hours easy run is just bonkers. I’m glad you enjoyed it too and I was impressed with the pace when I saw it. I do worry sometimes when I set a route like that, some of you guys will find it boring, but in the end it was necessary given how spread out we got. Great job Andy.
