60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 150

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

Returning post HHM with an easy run!! Get the legs fresh again for the bigger runs later in the week.

Phew – just read my feedback for yesterday’s run. I was really worried coach would be hacked off with my reckless plan changes but it seems all worked out for the best, thank goodness! So today was the easy run – I did feel a wee bit tired, had a poor night’s sleep and yesterday’s run plus the usual chores had their effect. I was running around the commons but it was very busy with toddlers, school kids, dogs, push chairs as well as other runners, so I headed for the track for the last 15 mins. It was more tranquil there – overall it was a pretty average easy run on a pleasant spring morning. No niggles!

Well done Sarah, sounds like the easy run was just what was needed today with the body feeling a little fatigued. I still believe we are well on track despite what happened with the half marathon Sunday. So I’m very happy right now with your progress.
