Maintaining your current 5k pace will get progressively more challenging as a session unfolds. So breaking it down in this nature should allow you to maintain that pace for the whole session.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😬 Too fast

PACE

Funny one this as although I was really looking forwards to the session and felt I got so much from it, it was like I was struggling today. Felt my body let me down ….. although when I look back on Strava it kinda reflex’s differently, I think 🤔 it shows good pace quicker than my goal and slightly quicker over all getting faster as time when on. Really great to do the session in the lovely sunshine ☀️

I get where you are coming from as had a similar experience. But what this highlights is that you managed to achieve your targets despite not feeling your best, which is actually even more impressive. It’s probably the after effects of Sunday in truth. But as you say, glorious weather and important to enjoy that as there will be some pretty grim conditions to endure as we enter the winter months. Great work Michelle.
