8 x 2 Mins Hill Reps

LOAD: 290

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

2 Mins Uphill (RPE: 8)
3 Mins Downhill @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
x8

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Big session this! But ideal if you have a hilly race coming up. Focus on good form and don’t go off too hard in rep 1, let the hill make it tough. Good luck! You got this. Run tall & proud.

Tuesday pm session. Keep it steady, no need to push too hard. Good form the key.

This was great. I only recorded the uphill part. I settled in after the first three and they were more comfortable from them on. It felt good to go a little stronger on the last one, but I was happy doing 8/10 effort. Another day I’ll push more earlier. Shame about the angry man with the dogs. I think we just caught him on a bad day. They were hardly bad dogs, he just wasn’t good at controlling them. His next walk should be better. Thanks Simon.

So pleased you enjoyed this and I think it’s a session to keep controlled as you did, especially at this stage of the plan, go too hard up the hills and it’s easy to pick up a niggle. I kinda get why the guy was annoyed as there was a lot of us dominating that small road during the warm up. He just didn’t take time to think it through and ended up making a tit of himself. Jax sometimes isn’t great in those situations, I’m just happy to remain calm and ignore those type of people. When you were all doing one of your hills reps as I was at the bottom we walked right past each other and nothing was said, so I’m sure he had calmed down by then when he realised what we actually doing.
