Hill Reps 6 x 3 Mins

LOAD: 32

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

6 x 3 Mins Uphill (RPE: 8)
Downhill Recovery Jog (RPE: 3)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

You want to find a hill which is challenging but runnable for 3 minutes. Don’t worry too much about pace, let the elevation dictate the RPE. Good form is imperative here. Run tall.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Kept this one pretty honest to be fair and felt great for it worked hard enough to get a bit of lactate build up in the legs towards the end, but not so hard I was blowing out my arse at the top. Felt strong and controlled on all reps. I done a longer cool down than planned but felt good to do it.

Perfect. I was a little worried after last week as that was a step up, and why I mentioned not to push too hard here, but you were aware of that yourself which is great. It’s knowing when to put the foot down and when to stay consistent. Still a bloody brilliant session. Not sure about Sunday now as Jax has just tested positive for Covid 🤦‍♂️ I’m feeling fine, at the moment, but obviously any small risk of passing that on to you we need to avoid.
