To be honest the only reason I’m setting targets is stop anyone going too fast at the start and that’s the key in this race. Jodie has a very similar pace, if you can find someone to run with it can help, otherwise it can be a very lonely race.

Well, strangely I enjoyed the run despite the weather doing its best to ruin it. I got a bit of a second wind at 13 miles, I felt ok and managed to speed up a bit, I had nothing left at the end but that was ok. Happy with my time and pace, although I do think when the official results come out it will be a few seconds over 3 hours, so about 3 minutes off my target time. It did take a while to thaw out though! No problems or niggles today which is good. All in all a good run.

Fantastic. I checked your splits and they were so consistent with a strong finish. Brilliant running Sue. I should add when I set the target times the wind was from the North, so we would all have been consistently faster throughout the race, so I wouldn’t worry about that. You did great in some pretty miserable conditions. Definitely one to be very proud of.
