If the weather is good then this out and back loop provides an excellent opportunity to run a fast time. Let’s just hope that wind behaves itself.

So this will be the longest run you’ve done since starting up again some 18 weeks ago, so very important to resist any temptation to chase a time and keep the pace easy to begin with, otherwise you might come unstuck towards the end.

We all agreed to Bimble, Klare, Su S, Lou and me. And that’s what we did, enjoyed all 13 miles as no pressure for time or pace. No official results yet completed below from Strava.

Sounds like a fun morning and I think it is important from time to time to do races like this. Otherwise we just end up over training and burnt out. Great work Su.
