Always a favourite with the team! Keep that first rep at 5k pace and then start to ramp up that speed. Enjoy!

Everyone always likes this session!

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

Really pleased with how I paced that. Almost went off too fast on 4 mins rep, but I managed to slow myself down a bit. Just checked my pacing on Strava and it was pretty much spot on. I was absolutely done in at the end of the session. Cycling a total of 20 miles today probably played a part in that. My head wanted to call it quits before the final couple of reps but I reminded myself that’s not how PB’s are earned

Love this. That mindset is what is so important. It pleases me too as I had the same experience on the track in the morning when the last rep was hell and all I kept thinking was if you keep going Si, the team will keep going in their sessions. So to read this makes me happy. It’s a good session and that early pace is important, sounds like you nailed it. Great work Joe. Hopefully you slept well as a result?
