With the hills, I’ve found half marathon pace is the best we can hope for here, but obviously that will fluctuate greatly depending on the section you are on. Dig deep up the hills and focus on good form.

I feel like you’re running well right now and to be honest I’m not too worried about setting targets here or paces. But what I do what, given the difficult nature of this route is a good mindset. So when it inevitable gets tough, I want you to remind yourself how well you are running, how strong you are, and keep pushing up the hill.
“I running well, I’m strong, I can do this” Or something like that. If you can have that attitude up the hills, then I’m very happy, whatever the clock says when you cross the line. Very best of luck Klare.

Thought I’d done my feedback for this one but I must have forgotten πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Quite enjoyed this one 😊 I seem to like hilly races and so happy with my time 😊 Not having a target sometimes helps as no pressure so thought I’d aim to get under last years time but then Sue informed me we ran 1-40 in 2022 I obviously had to try and beat that and I did 😊 Thanks again for the support 🧑

This was a brilliant performance and time. A massive improvement on 12 months ago and I think further evidence that your fitness & running is in a really good place right now.
