Rye Ancient Trails 15K

LOAD: 500

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

15K @ Target Pace (RPE: 4-8)

A really great event, one of my favourites. And the 15k option is ideal for anyone a little nervous about the full distance. I can highly recommend this.

Really pleased you’ve opted for this. Likely to be some hold ups with the stiles and gates so don’t worry too much about your time, treat it as a Sunday long run and just enjoy the trails.

Your speed early in the race will be quicker than the average pace, but the hills will impact it later on the route.

Missed target time but did spend 15 min at stile waiting to climb over. Enjoyed running with Tom, Rebecca, Kayla you kept this old room going at a good pace. Not done off road race for a long time. Feel it was good training for Rye to Hastings and great South.

Well done Sue. Lovely that you were able to run in a small group. 15 mins hold up is crazy, hopefully they can do something about that in the future. But sounds like you enjoyed the race and the trails will certainly help strengthen the legs for those upcoming races. Lindsey has offered to help out with the long run this Sunday.
