Sedlescombe Efforts

LOAD: 20

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

Main Session @ 3k Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

I have found these are sometimes a bit light on volume. Especially the “progression” reps. So my advice is go hard in all reps to get the best out of these sessions.

This works well in the schedule this week. If running quicker than 5k pace 16-20 mins is plenty. At 5k pace you want to be doing 25 mins+

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😬 Too fast

PACE

Think that was a bit too fast but enjoyed it. Arrived late so missed a run warm up (did dynamic stretching) Slight knee niggle -new trainers on route 🥳

That pace 🤯 If you are able to maintain it for the whole session then there really isn’t such a thing as “too fast”. All I would say is be very careful of doing a session without a warm up. That’s when things can go pop or tear. You’d be better off doing the 10 mins easy, or 5, missing a few reps and adding them on the end. Great running though Lou and so pleased you are enjoying these sessions as well. I’m worried now about our H2H 😂
