A good mix of cardio and strength work. Can be a fun session! Have a good one ๐ฅ๐
Strong week. Early conditions for Saturday (when I first posted this) look favourable for a quick parkrun, and it’s pacers day. So depending how you feel we could swap something for a fast parkrun. A long WU and CD, and you could even switch out the long run. Just floating that idea out there as pacers day doesn’t come along that often, once a month you know ๐คฆโโ๏ธ. Any issues let me know. 142pts here, so on the limit, but next week is a recovery week. Keep smashing it Lou.

Find a location where you can pick different points on the hill. Lamp posts are great. So for example you would run to the first lamppost and back to the bottom of the hill. Then to the second lamppost and back. Keep making the reps longer until you hit 20 mins, and then start making the reps shorter again.
Focus on effort level rather than pace or heart rate as both will fluctuate depending if you are going up or down the hill
If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.
Flexibility is definitely very important to runners and yoga can help in that area!
A great way to get the heart pumping to some banging tunes. Have fun ๐
